INSTITUTE’S RULES AND DISCIPLINE

  1. Student shall carry identity card when he/she is in the institute premises and should produce it on demand.
  2. It is mandatory for student to wear uniform while entering into college premises. The uniform consists of light blue jeans, white full sleeve shirt, white sports shoes and white socks.
  3. It is compulsory to attend the institute from the day of opening to the last day of each term during the academic year.
  4. Attendance for theory and practical is a must. In case attendance is found to be less than 80% classes of theory, practical, drawing etc., term will not be granted and student will not be allowed to appear for the University Examination. If student fails to submit satisfactorily all the assignments, jobs, journals drawings, reports and term work files as specified by the University/HODs/Teachers within the stipulated time limit student will not be allowed to appear in the University Examination. In both cases student will have to seek readmission to the same class in the next academic year.
  5. Student shall behave respectfully to the teaching and non-teaching staff within and outside the institute premises. Otherwise, student is liable for disciplinary action.
  6. Student shall pay the stipulated fees within the given time span. Student’s admission will be treated as cancelled if student fails to submit fee & required documents in stipulated time.
  7. Student must report regarding change of communication address if any to department and institute office. Institute will not be responsible for any loss of information due to any change of student’s communication address.
  8. Student shall participate in extracurricular activities that the institute organizes from time to time. Student shall also attend training courses.
  9. Student shall take prior permission in written for his/her leave. Student shall convey about his absence to the concerned HOD / Local Guardian in case of illness or any other emergency cases.
  10. Any rule by the University such as ‘imposing limits on the number of attempts permissible to pass any examination’ shall be binding on student.
  11. Raging is strictly prohibited within or outside of institute premises. If student found guilty in this case he/she shall be expelled from the institute. The fees will not be refundable in such cases. (Ref. AICTE, New Delhi and Govt. of Maharashtra Provision of Ragging Act 1999.)
  12. Student shall not indulge in anti-social activities, creating nuisance or any other mischief like strikes, demonstrations etc. within the Institute, He/she will be expelled from the institute. The fees will not be refundable in such cases.
  13. Principal of the institute has the right to expel student from the institute for any infringement of the rules of conduct and discipline prescribed by the institute or University or Government and the instructions given above.
  14. Student’s Parents are required to visit the institute whenever requested by the Principal.
  15. Smoking, chewing tobacco, consuming alcohol or taking drugs is strictly prohibited in the institute if any student found in inebriated condition; he/she will be suspended / expelled from the institute.
  16. Student shall follow rules and regulations of institute as stated in brochure and also those laid down by the Principal from time to time.
  17. Student shall abide by the rules regarding the cancellation of admission and refund of fees(if any).
  18. If student take admission in hostel, he/she shall follow the rules and regulation of same.
  19. Institute has an Anti-ragging Committee, Anti-Woman’s Harassment Committee. Student shall contact these committee in case of any disputes.
  20. Institute is connected with CCTV cameras. However, Institute will not be responsible for loss of student’s valuable items like mobile/cash/ornaments/bags etc in the Campus.
  21. Student will have to pay fee as finalized by Shikshan Shulka Samiti for 2017-18 for this institute. From next year i.e. for 2018-19, student will have to pay 8% rise in fee or the final fee declared by fees regulating authority for 2017-18.
  22. All the disputes pertaining to the admissions, cancellation of admission, refund of fee, any relevant disputes etc. shall fall within the jurisdiction of courts at Dhule only.
  23. Student shall read all the instructions specified in DTE Admission Brochure 2017-18 carefully. and shall be abide by the same.
  24. Student’s admission is subject to the verification from the Directorate of Technical Education, Mumbai, Pravesh Niyantran Samiti, Bandra (E), Mumbai and North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon.
